Bloom(ington)

Hello hello!
I apologize for the long absence, but I am afraid that the weeks leading up to spring break kept me insanely occupied.  Not to mention that following such busy times I was away in England for a bit!!  It was such a fun trip, and despite having little time to relax it has rejuvenated me and my creative self!
I'm sorry that I don't have anything particularly new or interesting to show at the moment, so I dug up this random flower gif that I had been playing with (and clearly lost interest in) back around Valentine's day.  Seems pretty appropriate at the moment though considering that here in Bloomington we are having 80 degree days in March.
Spring is in the air, let's all take a second (or a lot of seconds) to enjoy it!

Yowayowa Inspired

Bit of a warm-up/exercise thing directly referenced from this beautiful photo
I just stumbled upon this website today and I am completely and utterly in love.  Her pictures are just so whimsical and fun, and all of the colors are so great and her outfits are always so cute and GOSH.
Perfect inspiration blog.

Expression Apple

Holy moly has it really been two whole weeks since the last time I posted something?? How does that even happen?
This semester is proving to be keeping me as busy as I had predicted, but I'm going to try to post some more interesting things soon!  This is just something I made in class today while experimenting with adding Expressions to stuff in After Effects.  I never knew code could be used like that in that program!  I used some code from here to add the swaying to this little apple that I animated.  Super tiny and uninteresting, but it's all part of a (slightly) bigger project that I'll be working on :)

The Plot Thickens...

except not really.

Added a bit more to this animation.
Where is she?  What is it she's looking at? What will happen next??
Not even I know the answers!

Film Stuff??

Some possible scenes from my new project maybe??
I am trying to figure out the right pallet and it is really giving me a hard time.  I knew this would happen when I chose to do a story that takes place mostly at night, but I think it will also be a great opportunity to try to animate some really interesting things!
